Hi. I’m Sarah. A wife, mom of three, and the big sister you didn’t know you needed.
My earlier adult years were marked by confusion, waiting, deep growth, and real pain. I loved Jesus and wanted to follow Him faithfully, but I struggled to trust Him fully with my life. I searched for worth through approval, relationships, and achievement. I carried emotional wounds far longer than I should have, and I exhausted myself trying to feel secure in all the wrong places.
God eventually led me into a season that required total trust and dependence on Him. Through that season, and through the mentorship of wise, godly women who met me in my vulnerability, my relationship with Christ was transformed. They were the spiritual mentors and encouragers I didn’t know I needed at the time.
As I began to understand that my identity was rooted in Christ, not in my performance, relationships, or roles, everything started to shift. My confidence grew. My trust in God deepened. I found contentment, clarity, and a new steadiness in my calling. I began to see that every season God had walked me through, even the painful and confusing ones, carried purpose He could redeem for His glory.
Now, I want to walk alongside you.
Whether you are navigating early adulthood, motherhood, transition, grief, uncertainty, or a season where life feels especially heavy, this podcast is here to remind you that you are not alone and that God is near.
So, if you’re ready to:
Heal from past wounds and unresolved pain…
Feel rooted and steady in your faith…
Have a safe place to bring your mess to God…
Understand who God is, who you are, and how those intersect in real life…
Then this podcast is for you.
Come as you are. Yoga pants optional. Bible open. Let’s walk this out together.

This episode is for the woman who feels she is one inconvenience away from spiraling. A few months ago I had a real crash out of my own. It started with car trouble but the truth is, the pressure had been building since my son was born in January 2024. We walked through postpartum anxiety, developmental delays, a hospital stay for failure to thrive, feeding struggles, seizures, and financial strain. By the time another unexpected repair bill hit, I broke. My faith wobbled. My hope felt thin.
Then recently, the week before Thanksgiving, I got the call that my mom passed away after a long battle with addiction. While sitting in that grief, our family van broke down with all my kids inside. It should have been another crash out moment. But instead, I heard this: Do not be dismayed.
That took me straight to Isaiah 41.10. the verse God uses to pull you back from fear, overwhelm, and that shattered feeling you can’t put language to. In this episode we talk about:
• What “dismayed” really means and why it hits so deep• How God starts with presence before promise• Learning to receive His strength instead of trying to muster your own• Elijah’s crash out in 1 Kings 19 and why his burnout mirrors ours• How God upholds you when life feels impossible
If you’re carrying fear, anxiety, grief, or spiritual exhaustion, this episode will remind you that God has not left you. You are held. And you are strengthened.

You know those habits you really want to break — the patterns that seem stuck on repeat, even though you love Jesus and want to change?
In today’s episode, we’re diving into Ephesians 4:17–32, where Paul gives us a powerful roadmap for living a transformed life in Christ. This isn’t about behavior modification — it’s about renewing your mind, putting off the old self, and putting on the new one that’s created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
I’m sharing a funny middle school story (involving a not-so-great word choice 😅) and how it taught me that being a new creation isn’t just about what we don’t do — it’s about what we do put on.
In This Episode:
💭 1. Renewing Your Thinking (Ephesians 4:17–19)Paul reminds us not to live — or think — like the world. Transformation begins in the mind. We’ll unpack how your thoughts shape your actions and how to develop a renewed mindset grounded in truth.
🧠 2. Putting Off the Old Self (Ephesians 4:20–24)Through Christ, you’ve been empowered to lay down your old patterns and step into a new way of living. Renewal is a daily process — and the Holy Spirit gives you the ability to walk in true righteousness and holiness.
✨ 3. Getting Specific: What to Put Off and What to Put On (Ephesians 4:25–32)Paul lists what needs to go — and what should replace it:
Put off falsehood → speak truth
Put off anger → forgive quickly
Put off stealing → work and give
Put off unwholesome talk → build others up
Put off bitterness and malice → choose kindness and compassion
Living this way protects unity, honors God, and keeps your heart sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
💜 4. Living a Transformed LifeGod’s goal isn’t better behavior — it’s a renewed heart. Holiness isn’t striving; it’s living out who you already are in Christ. Every day, you get to choose what to put off and what to put on.
Reflection Questions
What “old self” habit or mindset is God asking you to put off this week?
What does “putting on the new self” look like for you — in your words, work, or relationships?
How can you invite the Holy Spirit to renew your mind daily?
Scripture References
Ephesians 4:17–32Romans 12:2

Are you always the “fixer” or the “helper” — the one who can’t rest until everyone around you is okay? This week on Trust God, Be Confident, we’re diving into a topic so many of us wrestle with but rarely name: codependency.
Host Sarah Coppiano and guest Rachel Goff unpack what codependency really is (and what it’s not), how it shows up in our relationships, and what healing through a biblical lens looks like. Together, we explore:✨ A simple, clear definition of codependency✨ What codependency can look like in friendships, dating, and family life✨ Rachel’s story of finding freedom and healing in Christ✨ How Scripture calls us to healthy love and boundaries✨ Why true love doesn’t mean control — it means trust
You’ll walk away encouraged to love others from a place of wholeness, not fear, and reminded that your worth doesn’t depend on who you can save — because Jesus already did that.
Bible Verses Mentioned:
Galatians 1:10 – Am I now trying to win the approval of people or of God?
Matthew 22:37–39 – Love God first, then love your neighbor as yourself.
Proverbs 29:25 – Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
